This blog is all things career related with a great deal of thought around one’s purpose. To what degree does one find purpose in their professional endeavors?
I finally received the push that I needed to start this blog series in that it will be featured on a new social media start up site, http://www.MyBlankJob.com. The founder of the website is an accomplished digital marketing professional. There was a point in her life that she felt as if she was at a crossroads career wise and needed a change. When she began considering her next move career wise, she found that there were countless sites that would place her in a new job doing what she was already doing. She found little guidance that fulfilled her desire to change paths. In this time of her career crosswords, she sought a means of researching, organizing and making notes of her comparison of MBA schools. She did not readily find an online tool that provided these capabilities. She coupled her desire to commiserate with others on the quirks (aka frustrations) of one’s workplace with her desire to truly entertain a career change and the need for tools to analyze one’s educational and career options, and she created MyBlankJob. I am excited that this blog is being featured on the site.
