We have 15 days and 2 hours until election day. This is the amount of time until November 3 in Washington DC. The polls are already open for early voting. I do not think that anyone believes that we will have a decision to the election in 15 days or 16 days for that matter.
I think that most are ready for the election to be over, and for us all to move forward with our lives. For me, the thing that I think about the most is that our media needs a major overhaul. Our media outlets are controlling what we see and attempting to dictate what we think. This is a HUGE problem. I think that the major media outlets in the US are seeking to divide Americans, and there is no doubt that they are succeeding.
Tonight’s major story on CNN is that Fauci now says that he would only push for another lockdown under extreme conditions. This is as countries in Europe are experiencing a surge of the CoronaVirus and returning to lockdown restrictions. I find it convenient that Fauci, who has been pushing to lock the country down for most of 2020, suddenly changes his tune. I suppose that he is not wanting to be a liability to his Democratic brethren on election day.
Tonight’s major story on FoxNews is that a NY Times story that suggests corruption of Joe Biden’s son, Hunter, has been censored on the major social media outlets, namely Facebook and Twitter. I can not verify the credibility of the NY Time story, but I take major exception to the censorship; especially given the fact that the NY Times ran an unfounded story on Trump’s taxes, and there was no censorship of this on Facebook and Twitter. I am 100% against censorship. If Facebook and Twitter believe they have a moral obligation to not release unfounded facts, then this policing has to go both ways.
The country is in a state of unrest.
Meanwhile, we all continue to go about our daily lives. I have decided to start a mini-blog series of the days leading up to the election. My election countdown blog series will consists of daily posts that provide just a paragraph of what is happening with the election, and then the rest will cover “the little things in life”, which I have come to deeply treasure in this time of chaos.
Stay tuned…
