Today marks the 20th anniversary of the September 11th terrorist attacks. I like what the ESPN Game Day announcer said, “We all honor this day in our own way.” I started my day with a beautiful morning walk, and then I watched some of the programming of the observances of 9-11 around the country. It is hard to believe that two decades have passed since the attacks.

I am now watching ESPN College Game Day. Ohio State plays Oregon today. This is one of the bigger games of the day as Ohio State is ranked third and Oregon is twelfth. Oregon has never before won against Ohio State. ESPN dubbed the segment, “a nut verses a duck.” They are giving a bit of history on each of the mascots. The segment is pretty clever. All though, I am not sure that, “The Eye of the Tiger” was the right choice for background music.

My day revolves around putting the final touches on Little Chirp’s new study and watching a little bit of football. I want to surprise him with it when he returns home on Monday. Changing out the fan blades, hanging the curtain, deep cleaning the window, and hanging the multi-pane pictures are the biggest tasks. I will easily finish before the end of the weekend, but I would like to finish today.

Well, the sooner that I get started, the sooner I will finish. Off I go!
