In contrast to 2020, this year has flow by. At the end of today, the year will be seventy-five percent over. Our fall weather faded back into hot summer days. I am definitely looking forward to cooler weather.

The kittens are loving their new home. They are adventurous, playful, and affectionate. Where one goes, the other follows. They run about the house, and then crawl up into my lap for snuggles, before return to their playtime.

Last night, we finalized the kitten’s names. His kitty’s name is officially Echo, and mine is Whisper. I felt happy that Little Chirp actually liked my name suggestion of Whisper. I really wanted the names to sort go together. I think that Echo and Whisper go together in a sort of majestic way.

Trooper has made it clear that he does not want to share his food with the kittens. Interestingly, despite his size, the kittens are not at all afraid of Trooper. They boldly hop up the stair step shelving to get to Trooper’s food, even while Trooper is there eating.

Potatoe and the kittens steal a snuggle together every now and then. The kitten’s seem to think that he is a jungle gym. Potatoe is sweet to the kitties, but he has made it clear that he does not want them on my bed.

I feel happy and healthy. These are two things that I have not felt much of over the past couple of months. I think the kittens and their older fur siblings are a huge source of both.
