I find myself laser focused on my goals. While there is negativity to be had in any day, my mind focuses on the positive. Is the positive boring to talk about?

I find that no one asks a fellow grown up:

“What was the best thing about your day?”

“Did you make a new friend today or meet anyone new?”

”Did you learn anything new?”

”Did you enjoy a special breakfast or lunch today?”

“Did you have any interesting meetings today?”

”Did your children make you laugh today?”

”Did you get to snuggle with the fur kids this morning?”

People always ask about a concern, or known source of stress. Of course this shows they care, and that they acknowledge one’s concern. Yet, some people seem to bring up the past, the forgotten past. Do they do so to bring me down, or to put me in my place, or do they do so to simply make conversation? I think it is mostly just to make conversation.

It is only Tuesday morning, and I have already worked about 20 hours this week. I am ready to tackle another day with my positive mindset. My goal is to have everything done by noon on Friday. I will then take off work early, and I will have a Friday afternoon with Little Chirp to kick off the weekend before school starts.

I am starting to think that having a positive mindset is in and of itself a goal. Now, I need to get on the road to the office. One of my coworkers just texted me with something urgent. Whatever it is, we will tackle it.

Have a terrific Tuesday.
